Trade Shows And Conferences

The following trade shows and conferences are recommended by the Atlantic Unmanned & Autonomous Systems Council. Members interested in attending one or more of the following select missions, those interested in collective representation (either directly or under the auspices of ACADA) or those who simply want to know more should Contact the Council.

April 4 - 6

Ocean Business 17 - Southampton, England. Ocean Business is a hands-on ocean technology exhibition and training forum, taking place every two years at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton. Launched in 2007 and running every two years, the show has over 300 exhibitors and nearly 5,000 attendees. Running in parallel to the exhibition is the Maritime Dual-Use Events in Autonomous Systems Conference, organised by Marine South East and the Enterprise Europe Network and supported by the European Commission.

September 5 - 7

DEFSEC Atlantic - Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. DEFSEC Atlantic is the second largest exhibition of its kind in the country and the largest event that does not restrict exhibitors through membership in any industry association. This added flexibility allows a great variety of companies, especially those at the cutting-edge of the Aerospace Defence industries, to attend and participate in the event from across the region, country and globe. Unlike CANSEC, DEFSEC Atlantic provides a unique atmosphere where businesses can meet each other and start down the path of future collaboration. The event also brings all levels of government which highlight the programs available to aid companies in future business development. If it's only possible to attend one show in Canada this year, DEFSEC Atlantic is by far the best option.

September 12 - 15

DSEI - ExCel Centre, London, England. Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) is the world leading event that brings together the global defence and security sector to innovate and share knowledge. DSEI represents the entire supply chain on an unrivalled scale. DSEI 2017 will have five key sector-focused Zones: Air, Land, Naval, Security, and Joint, all showcasing the latest equipment and systems. Attend DSEI 2017 to develop relationships with an audience of over 34,000 including Defence Ministers, International Military and Armed Forces, key industry players and private sector companies. The DSEI Strategic Conferences take place on 11 September (Day Zero) with the main exhibition and free seminar programme running for four days from 12-15 September.
